5th - 12th Grade Students
Wednesday Nights from 6:00-7:30 p.m.
Our Jr. and Sr. High ministry meets most Wednesday evenings. We strive to host a faith based and fun filled program designed just for students. Students can get dropped off at the office entrance (side doors around to the right of the main entrance) starting at 5:45 for some group games in the gym before transferring upstairs to the Loft for food, a lesson, and small group time. We also occasionally plan outside events, get togethers with other church youth groups, and big conference trips like CIY (Christ in Youth) and ICYC (Indiana Christian Youth Conference).
Aaron started working at NMCC in March of 2023. He has a passion for working with teens and pre-teens that stems from the encouragement that he received from his Youth Minister back in his hometown of Follansbee, WV.
Aaron was born and raised in the rolling hills of West Virginia, graduated from Johnson University in Tennessee, worked as a Youth Minister in North Carolina for 4 years, and as a Family Minister in Georgia for 7 years.
A few of Aaron's favorite things include his wife Natasha, daughter Harmony, Pokémon, being the center of attention, all things sugar, Marvel, and his corgi named Loki.

August NMCC Student Ministries Newsletter
Hey parents and students, August is here and with it come some pretty big changes at NMCC. Our Sunday morning services are changing times on August 17th to 9 and 10:45 in an effort to attract more people to our first service. Along with that change, D.U. (Disciple University) will be moving to Sunday afternoons from 3:30-5 p.m. when classes start in September.
Due to Youth group and D.U. classes having conflicting times, we are planning an additional change to our regularly scheduled jr. and sr. high ministries. Starting on Wednesday, August 20th we will be launching Wednesday night youth group at NMCC instead of meeting on Sundays. The plan is to combine 5-12th graders every Wednesday from 6-7:30 p.m. We will still have a time for games, food, large group lesson and small groups.
Our staff has been praying and seeking God's will for our church amidst these changes. We are treating all of these time shifts as an "experiment." Feel free to share your feedback with us as we try something new.
- Aaron Moffo

What we're teaching this month: Restart
In a video game, you expect to face challenges and make mistakes, but there's always a way out. If things get too difficult, you can just turn it off and start over. In real life, it's not so easy for us to recover from mistakes or start over when we face challenges, but Jesus gives us a chance to restart— no matter how difficult our circumstances. In this series from the Old and New Testaments, we'll look at a few people who needed God's help to give them a restart.
August 20 When you feel like a failure, God helps you restart.
August 27 When you feel overwhelmed, God takes care of you.
September 3 When you feel stuck, God gives you guidance.
September 10 When you feel unwanted, God says you belong.
