Sometimes the challenges of life are so demanding we need help from others, including those who are professionally trained. We seek to walk with individuals needing support with life circumstances so they see the heart of Christ.
You may have concerns about counseling. Don't worry—we understand.
Considering counseling as an option for help can often be overwhelming. We understand those potential anxieties and want to make the process as simple as possible. We want to answer any questions you may have and work to provide an inviting atmosphere where you can find the space to experience healing and hope.
Life can be tough, but you don't have to go through it alone. We understand that life is filled with challenges, trials, and moments of uncertainty. We believe in the power of community and the strength that comes from supporting one another. Contract counselor Debbie Greves offers counseling services to provide you with the guidance, support, and encouragement you need to navigate life's ups and downs.
Counseling with Debbie Greves is rooted in the belief that God, the ultimate Comforter, has practical answers to real-life pains and problems. Whether you're struggling with personal issues, seeking pre-marital counseling, desiring to repair a broken relationship, battling addiction, or simply looking for guidance on your spiritual journey, we are here to help.
Debbie started contract counseling at NMCC in 2023.
Debbie loves helping people incorporate their faith into their healing process, and integrating prayer and scripture within the context of counseling when the client is comfortable doing so.

What to Expect
The counseling services we offer are free however if you would like to make a donation to this ministry you can write a check to North Madison Christian Church with counseling as the memo.
You can call or email to set up a consultation time. Sessions are typically 50-60 minutes.
Our counseling entrance is at the back of our building and labeled with a "Life Ministry" heart. At that door there is a Ring camera that you can ring to let Debbie know you have arrived.
When you enter through the life ministry doors you will see Debbie's private counseling office on your right. Sometimes clients may wait for their session in the "Moms Room" by the auditorium.
Life Ministries
On Sunday Mornings at NMCC you may see some individuals walking around with coral colored shirts that say Life Ministries. These individuals are part of a team that would love to connect and talk with anyone who's interested.
Sometimes coming into a new place like a church is hard and if you don't already have people at church that you know then the Life Ministries team would love to welcome you into our church family.
Life Ministries also host different events throughout the year like grief share and navigating the holidays without loves ones. Check out our church calendar for any upcoming life ministries events.
