Who is North Madison Christian Church?

We are a non-denominational Christian church that welcomes people from all ages and backgrounds. We believe the Bible is our ultimate authority for faith and practice here. We want to help people encounter God so they can experience Him today and forever.

Are all the services the same?

Yes, we have two services at 9 and 10:45. Both of our services are Contemporary style worship with a praise band. Each service includes the same message from the Bible to encourage and challenge us throughout the week. Nursery, Preschool and Elementary children’s programming is available during both services.

How do I communicate with the staff?

You can contact the staff by calling the church office at (812) 273-1601 or through e-mail. Specific staff can be contacted via email found on Our Team Page. The church office is open Monday-Thursday from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.

How do I find out what is happening at NMCC?

Information about our activities and programs is available in our weekly service program called the connection guide, on the tablets at the connection corner in our commons, during our announcement time at the beginning of each service on Sunday mornings, or on our Facebook page. Occasionally we will send out texts to everyone who has signed up for NMCC text message updates. 

How do I become a Partner?

Partnership is discussed in detail during one of our Connection Point classes.  Classes are held 4 times a year.  We want all people interested in joining NMCC to be well informed on what we believe and value. This class is a must for partnership. You can talk to any of our staff members or search the calendar for upcoming Connection Point Classes. 

Where can I get involved in serving?

Check out our Serving Opportunities Page; it will direct you to some of our current ministries.  You can read about each of the ministry team positions that are available and fill out an interest form if you would like more info or to be contacted about serving.

Does the Church have a prayer ministry?

Yes! Prayer is the core of every ministry. The church gets it direction from the Word and the Holy Spirit as we commune with God in prayer. We have an e-mail prayer group that prays for the weekly requests. If you have a prayer request, please fill out this form or add it to the prayer list at the welcome desk on a Sunday morning.  

When is the next free food giveaway?

NMCC hosts a free food giveaway on the 4th Saturday of the month (except November and December) from 8-10 a.m. Anyone in our community who could use some free food is invited to join us each month. You can bring your own container to load up with canned goods and packaged foods or a cardboard crate will be provided. You can verify when the next food pantry will meet on our Church Calendar.
