5th - 12th Grade Students
Wednesday Nights from 6:00-7:30 p.m.
Our Jr. and Sr. High ministry meets most Wednesday evenings. We strive to host a faith based and fun filled program designed just for students. Students can get dropped off at the office entrance (side doors around to the right of the main entrance) starting at 5:45 for some group games in the gym before transferring upstairs to the Loft for food, a lesson, and small group time. We also occasionally plan outside events, get togethers with other church youth groups, and big conference trips like CIY (Christ in Youth) and ICYC (Indiana Christian Youth Conference).
Aaron started working at NMCC in March of 2023. He has a passion for working with teens and pre-teens that stems from the encouragement that he received from his Youth Minister back in his hometown of Follansbee, WV.
Aaron was born and raised in the rolling hills of West Virginia, graduated from Johnson University in Tennessee, worked as a Youth Minister in North Carolina for 4 years, and as a Family Minister in Georgia for 7 years.
A few of Aaron's favorite things include his wife Natasha, daughter Harmony, Pokémon, being the center of attention, all things sugar, Marvel, and his corgi named Loki.

July 12: 4-H Led Worship at the Jefferson County Fair (6:30 p.m.)
Aaron is encouraging youth members to join him at the Fairgrounds Pavilion on Sunday July 12th at 6:30 for some worship led by 4-H youth and speaker Holly Fory. Sign up here if you would like to meet up at the church and travel to the fairgrounds on the people mover at 6 p.m. Students can be picked up at the fair or back at the church after worship.
July 17: Skating at Madison Fun Factory (5:30 p.m.)
Everyone is invited to join NMCC at Madison Fun Factory for an evening of skating, cornhole, pool, and fun! The Church is providing food and covering the cost of admission, arcade games are also available at additional cost. Fill out this form to let us know how many to expect.
July 19-23: CIY Move (No longer accepting sign-ups)
Aaron and Tasha are taking a group of High schoolers to Lee University in Tennessee July 19-23. We are excited about taking this trip and ask for prayers for the students to have an amazing week of experiencing the Kingdom of God.
July 26: Abide Night of Worship (6 p.m.)
NMCC is hosting a night of worship and praise on Sunday, July 26th at 6 p.m.

What we're teaching this month: More to the Story
Where there is shadow, there is light, so the shadows don't have to scare us. As we grow and experience more life, we might find the shadows of doubt or questions creeping towards us. Rather than run from the shadows, we can look to God to cast some light on the situation. In this series from the Old and New Testaments, we'll explore how we can step into the light whenever we doubt God's presence.
