5th - 12th Grade Students
Wednesday Nights from 6:00-7:30 p.m.
Our Jr. and Sr. High ministry meets most Wednesday evenings. We strive to host a faith based and fun filled program designed just for students. Students can get dropped off at the office entrance (side doors around to the right of the main entrance) starting at 5:45 for some group games in the gym before transferring upstairs to the Loft for food, a lesson, and small group time. We also occasionally plan outside events, get togethers with other church youth groups, and big conference trips like CIY (Christ in Youth) and ICYC (Indiana Christian Youth Conference).
Aaron started working at NMCC in March of 2023. He has a passion for working with teens and pre-teens that stems from the encouragement that he received from his Youth Minister back in his hometown of Follansbee, WV.
Aaron was born and raised in the rolling hills of West Virginia, graduated from Johnson University in Tennessee, worked as a Youth Minister in North Carolina for 4 years, and as a Family Minister in Georgia for 7 years.
A few of Aaron's favorite things include his wife Natasha, daughter Harmony, Pokémon, being the center of attention, all things sugar, Marvel, and his corgi named Loki.

All 5th-12th graders are encouraged to join our youth group on a camp retreat to Wonder Valley Christian Camp (7093 W Wonder Valley Rd - Salem, IN) on October 2 & 3. This will be an over night get away designed to bring our youth group closer together through ridiculous games (bringing back squidbee) and take our faith to the next level by diving into some spiritual disciplines. The cost of the retreat is $50 which includes staying in the camp dorms and breakfast, lunch, and two dinners. Drop off and pick up will be at Wonder Vally (1 hour 20 minute drive) however we will have some transportation arranged with the church van that seats 14. Please register using this link. If you would rather not pay online you can still pay in person by giving Aaron cash or a check made out to NMCC after you register using the link.

What we're teaching this month: Stick Together
Think about your favorite adventure stories where friends go on epic journeys, face challenges, and stick together through it all. Those stories make you wonder: Do I have friends like that? Am I that kind of friend? We all want solid friendships with people who stick with us no matter what life brings, and the Bible gives us wisdom about how to build those relationships. In this series from the Old and New Testaments, we’ll explore what God has to say about how we can have—and be—good friends.
